i'm trying to replace my stock MAF with a C&L meter. at first glance, the screws on the stock MAF looked like it could be unscrewed with a torx bit. but the screw had a tit in the middle that kept me from inserting the whole bit.
i've got a 96 GT- has anyone done this? and what type of tool do i need to get these screws off! if you've done this swap and have the torx bit, may I borrow??

You can buy the torque bit set at Sears or Osh for under $9 dollars. I'd let you use mine but im in Stockton.

If we're on the same page (torq screw w/ little nipple in the middle) so you'd need the torq bits with an open middle...... yep, Sears does have them and so does Osh. I just bought another set maybe 2 weeks ago bro'.
