Hi I would like to lower my car about '1 I am leaning towards the ford motorsport springs. Do you know if I have to get the caster/camber kit to do this? will my tires be ok if I donot or is it a must. this is for a 94 mustang gt

It's always a good idea to put the CC plates on. What springs are you looking to go with? If you want a true drop, don't waste your time with the B springs, go C springs.

Its not necessary to put on ccp's. I reccomend eibach pro kit for that car. I have had 2 95's and used that kit on both and really like it. On my first car I never replaced the plates and the car ran great and got great mileage out of the front tires.

It's not neccesary unless you're going with a big drop(more than1.5"). If you have the money, or think you might see some track time, get em.

my car is lowered about 4 inches, and i do not have caster plates... the car drives fine to

Mine is dropped somewhere between 1" to 1.5", and had some very slight uneven wear on my tires on the inside. It wasn't too bad, but got the MM plates when I got new tires.

one slow lx hasn't had a set of tires on long enough to see tire wear. my car is lowered 2.5"? I'm guessing low enought to have no clearence between the fender and tire, and that is the max I can go without the plates my camber is maxed out.

It all depends on what alignment specs you wish to have. If the facoty plates do not allow that particular spec then CC plates will be needed.

i had maier racing springs up front 1.75" drop then i cut a coil now there is mayb one finger gap w/ stock 17's 245/45 and no cc plates jus had alignment and max camber is now -2.8(L) and -2.5(R) i would be happy with -1 but hey that's what i get for chopping the springs and no plates...maybe going to sportlines w/o plates
