I have a 2001 V6 Stang that has been making scraping noises when I shift into 5th gear. It only makes that noise when I shift at about 70 MPH. It's a real "ouch" noise! I haven't taken the car into Ford yet to be checked. Has anyone out there ever encountered this kind of problem? I appreciate any feedback I can get! [worship]

It sounds like a 5th gear syncro or a possible chipped tooth on the 5th gear itself...
