I'd check your inertia switch....You can re-set it by pushing down the reset button located on the switch, in the rear paneling of the trunk...If it doesnt work at least you elimated one other thing...

when you turn the key on the on position do you hear your fuel pump buzzing?
also maybe you control module went out.

no the feul pump does not kick on.or buzzz
thanks

Do this.... reach under the drivers seat and hold the fuel pump relay (small green box). While holding the green relay in your hand, put the ignition key in the ON position. You should be able to feel the relay "click" on. If you don't, then your problem is upstream. (Bay fuel pump relay, bad EEC relay, bad EEC, bad ignition switch or bad ground/power wire connection)

i checked the fp relay it does not "click" and where are the other relays located at?
Thanks for ur help

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. Here is everything that makes the fuel pump relay click:

fuel pump cut off (inertia switch) switch in the hatch.

EEC-IV.

EEC relay. Its the grey relay near the EEC itself.

Power wires to the EEC/fuel pump/everything else on the starter solenoid.

Ignition switch.

My brother had messed with the starter soliond and im not sure if he put verything back the right way would any mind posting a pic of what its supposed to look like.
thanks for the help ill let u know how it goes

yeah, the lil' red plug in wire on the starter soinoid comes lose every now and then..
it happened to me twice in the middle of nowhere(upland)ontario [Roll Eyes] i hate that place.

that lil'red wire is a good kill switch also
but i think you'll hear the fuel pump if that was the case.

if it was something on the starter solenoid his car wouldn't even turn over in the first place, right? Im havin the same problem as he is except I believe my fuel pump is working... on my '95 i've never been able to hear it anyways though.

I get power to the coil but no spark at my distributor... is there something different between '93 coils and '95 coils other than how they mount? I mounted my '93's coil on the A/C compressor bracket, since in my '95's engine bay the stock location for the coil is occupied by the engine bay fuse box...

Maybe bad solenoid or ignition switch?
