What is the 60ft/et/mph? How much does the car weigh? What is the combo? Where does the car peak?

With the following...
- Naturally aspirated
- 302 based (stroker is ok)
- 11:1 or less compression
- Hydro-roller cam

Anything goes aside form these 4 things...
Lets hear it. [patriot]

Excellent question! EFI or carbed?
Mike C is down to 11.30's w/ poor traction. Not sure how many locals are actually doing the max effort NA 5.0/stroker route.

Jim, I'm more interested in EFI, but I'd like to hear both.

What is Mike's combo?

Umm-
347, AFR 185's w/ port work (I think), ported Performer RPM, custom cam. I'm sure Aaron or Mike will correct any mistakes. Over 400 hp and tq at the wheels. Not bad. [Wink]

doesn't Rhett's 347 combo make 400 to the wheels too?

Luke

347 11:1 Compression

AFR 185's very lightly cleaned up

Cam 244/240 108 LSA 110 ICL .576/.550something
Actually driveability is still ok with 3.73's. His mufflers are more undrivable along with solid motor mounts.

Matching ported RPM intake

Anderson NA powerpipe, 80mm MAF, 75mm TB, 42 lb injectors, Autologic chip

1 3/4 BBK headers, 3" DR. Gas X pipe, Dynomax race bullet muffs

think that's pretty much it.

His ET's will get better but best is 11.3 with a 1.73 60'. It traps 122-124 at 3300 lbs. On the dyno it made 414 RWHP at 5900/6000 RPM SAE corrected and 416 RWTQ at 5000. It made 400+ RWHP from 5100-6500 RPM. It just makes tremendous power everywhere. lights the tires off on 2nd gear stabs with Nittos. I could arrange a ride for you [Big Grin]

Pretty remarkable. I wonder what the driveability is like (idle, 1800rpm cruise characteristics, etc). You guys could make make a business giving joy rides in that thing. Like a Great America ride...

Also, Aaron is this car the record holder for the criteria I gave above? Anyone faster?

Looks like there is a 10 in there if he can get that launch sorted out... 1.5X region

KCmustangboy, do you know the race weight of that white coupe? Also, does anyone have a dyno printout of this car? If I recall it made in the 330rwhp range

Here's Rehtt's rear whell, but I think he has made a change since then.

88 LX

wow, equally remarkable for the parts that he has. Pretty good ET/mph with the power he is making...

What about you Jim? Where do you stand? How is your progress coming and whats new with the green car?
Luke

Well,
I have put in a new cam and got the mph up in the 113's. traction has been bad, especially since the bushings went bad in my "new" control arms. Replaced them last weekend. So still stuck in the 12.1's-12.2's on a cool night.

Bwahahaha, too funny. No charge, lol. Actually I don't anticipate him even driving his car much anymore. He just bought a damn motorcylce.
