I was on the freeway the other night as I watch my RPM's climb in fourth gear while I was speeding and then put it in 5th. After I shifted, by the way my speedometer only goes up to 85 for now, I noticed that my rpms dropped to about 2400 RPM's but my concern is that it didn't seem to climb at all. Is it because my 5th is overdrive and isn't made to go climb high RPM's? Thanks in advance for input.

if you want to kill your self and go up in higher rpms and speeds,
shift: (3:08 gears)
1st-37mph-5500
2nd-62mph-5200
3rd-85mph-4850
4th-115ph-5025
5th 147ph-
good luck and drive safe.
once your past 115
5 gear just keeps pulling.
