What is the hole in the back of the rear bracket for, mine came with a bolt and nut in it, I cant figure out what its for exactly? [Confused]

you mount the main rear shock to it dude! it bolts through!

The pigtail is an inch or two lower than the shock mount, is there supposed to be a brace or something that connects the two?

You jam that massive bolt through to hold it on one end, and the back side is 'hooked' to the shock. a picture would help... I can do that tonight...
