My friend just picked up a motor and trans for $200 off a buddy...My friends buddy said, it came out of a Mustang and its a 302...He's also sure its has a T5 transmission...
It has a factory Carter 4brl carb, ribbed valve covers and a (previously mentioned) T5....
Thats all I know about the combo...I havent seen it, but I was wondering if any of you guys know what year Mustang its out of?....
I was thinkin '85, But I thought they came with Holley 4 barrels..... ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

As far as I can recall the 84-85's were the only years with a carb AND 5 speed trans. My 84 had one and so does my 85. They came with Holly's, but Carter makes a factory replacement 4bbl-625cfm carb. with electric choke (model 9637). It is possible that it might have been replaced with one.
