Anybody in the Bay Area sell SPEC clutches? Need a Stage II.

Clutch went BOOM yesterday on 85 @ Bernal and left me stranded. Well, not totally stranded since I had my Mtn Bike with me and rode the 6 miles back to the house.

Anyway, hoping to buy it locally if I can.

Sean.

Ouch. My KC clutch ended up lasting me about 40K miles before a blown rear main seal took it out. Locally... see if Apex has them in stock. I can't think of anyplace else with in driving distance..... unless you want to go to Frontier Ford and pick up another KC.

Because I want to go pick it up and not pay shipping.

I'll be installing it myself.

just wondering how these spec clutche's are compared to the centerforce's, im going to need a clutch soon and was just wondering what the difference was, or if i even need one of these two, my car only has a few bolt-ons hedders, cold air and pulleys, so i dont have 300 hp, just wondering what you all think.
thanks

The reviews that I have read on the SPEC clutches have been very positive. I hear that they grab great, aren't too stiff on the pedal and are quiet. I've heard a number of stories of chatter from the Centerforce clutches. I have yet to hear anything negative about the SPEC's.

Have never tried either one, though. Just taking a chance after doing some research. For a near stock car you could just get the Stage I. I understand that it is an excellent stock replacement with stock pedal feel.

Sean.
