with my mods what should my car run in the quarter as far as trap speed? previous best was 102. This was with only 500 miles on combo.

take it to the track, and let a good driver run it

It should be running 107 mph. A stock motored 5.O is good for 100-101 mph with the basic bolt ons.

I agree, full weight a 107 sounds 'bout right.

I've been there, done that, and got the T-shirt on the H/C/I swap = poop situation [Mad]

but my current H/C/I is running +10 mph over my best as a bolt-on car (stock longblock). If you got +12 that's great but sounds like something was wrong, and something is still wrong (90, 102...)

so is the 107 with or without gears?

Gears make no difference to trap speed....

With your combo, I think 105-107mph should be very easily obtained....

What other bolt ons do you have ?....Pulley's, exhaust?...

I've hit 102mph with stock heads and stock cam, and I'm hopping for 103-104mph with some extra mods that I've added(still usings stock heads and cam)...

Absolutely, but it may not be oil. It could just be soot residue along with the water that condensed after the car turned off.
