well I finally took my 99gt apart
and I found why I was only makeing 8psi instead off 18

well I took the heads off my motor and the passanger side had the valves bent again [Mad]
fuck

I thought my timing was off but afthere checkin it out, I found it was fine

I guess I just had way to much lift on my cam's and when it was reved to high RPMs the valves kissed the pistons

Oh well back to the drawing board

Im just goin to dump a stock motor in it
meen while I'll save some cash to buy a 5.4l DOHC motor with a automatic

I guess ill part out the 4.6 block and heads

Why not just stroke your 4.6? That's all the real difference between it and a 5.4 [Smile]

The SHM cams are good because they are not reground. I have had no problems with those yet. You could always stroke your 281 to make it a 300. Thats what we did with a Saleen. Also, as for over reving that motor will cause the rockers to come off. Thats most likely why you bent the valves. The rockers are way too touchy in this motor.
