what is roughly the top out speed on a 99 cobra if i get 3:73 gear in my car and what do i need for a more proper speedometer reading (part) where do i buy it and how much? thanks guys any help would be good.

With stock tires and a .68 5th gear @ around 5,500 mathmatically your doin around 165mph...

Dallas Mustang carry an "Speedcal" to recalibrate your speedo..

It's all electronic to recalibrate the speedo in your car. Also where do you pla on being able to top out your car like that

165 sounds about right. You can also buy an abbot box. The dallas one works good also.
If you have the IRS on your cobra, be prepaired to spend some $ for install. I would do other mods before gears.
