ok im thinkin of getting a cobra processer for my car for a temperary type of deal. my friend put it on his car and it felt quiet a bit faster. does it actuolly help? i heard it re-maps the fuel system and some other things to make more power. should i get it or what?

im no tech whiz but I do know that the cobra computer restricts your car from running at it fullest potential. get the a9l and be happy.

What's your current, EEC, Injector and MAF setup?

well im going to have 30# or 36# injectors with matching MAF. i have the stock EEC so i want to upgrade.

Keep your stock EEC!

The Cobra EEC isn't an upgrade, but its not as bad as people make it out ot be either [patriot]

so what would you suggest getting?

Stay with your stock EEC and have a custom chip burned when you are done with your mod's. It will work out the best for max power.

When we dyno-tune, we can tune out most of the problems with the Cobra computer, but don't waste your money on one. The stock computer is just fine.
