how hot should my car get with a 3row radiator?
the temp gauge bearly moves...its like 135-140 at the hottest...
the reason i asked...is because i was driving the other day and it was a real hot day..and i filled up my gas and chekd my oil and my engine seemed hotter then usual..

What engine? What is your therostat rated at? Do you have a thermostat? Kinda sounds like you don't have one.

If its not getting above 140F thenmy guess is that you don't have a thermostat or it is stuck open. Normal operationg temp is like 180-210 or something like that. Maybe not as high as 210 but you are definately way low on the temp range. I'd suggest installing a 180 deg thermostat.

If you're using the stock guage, use a real thermometer to verify the stock guage.

The stock guages are not acurate and very greatly from car to car. My car usually has the needle on the "a" in Normal. A buddy's is always between the r and m. Either use a thermometer or a code reader to actually read the temp the the computer is reading. This is usually pretty accurate, depending on the year. Its the guage that sucks not the sensor.
