just wanted to say that i'm new and in only a few days, this post has been awesome!!
keep up the good work and thanks for a few hours of enjoyment while reading all kinds of stories within this side.
i especially enjoy the "street raceings" stories.
i've a 92gt with basic bolt on's like heads, cam, intake, exhaust and a small paxton sn2000 supercharger among misc fuel stuff.
it's good to finally find a place where people actually know what they're talking about and have respect for everyone else..no haters.

peace and much love.

never been to the track, i think i'd embarass all of you fellow mustang owners up there.

tfs heads
e303 cam
24#injectors
cobra intake
1.6 rockers
headers/full exhaust
etc.

no dyno numbers either but i'm waiting to finish some misc. items like larger injectors/MAF and it seems like apex/bryon is the place to go for a dyno tune.

cheers

u meen u would be embarrased by the local mustang owners
u make like what 350rwhp since ur untuned, there are a lot of people with the same or greater power and lots of track experience, i wouldnt get to cocky just yet

I'd embarass all you fellow mustang owners because i've never been to the track and would probably do horrible, i meant.

i see know, we would be embarrased to be seen with u, trust me, we wouldnt, how many people in stock ls1s will be out there granny shifting to a high 14 spinning the tires down the whole track just to get beat by a stock 225 hp mustang with a decent driver [Big Grin]

i really like camaros but some of the people who drive them are idiots, but then again a lot of mustang owners are idiots too, but hey, everyone has idiotic moments

i'd be so nervous my first time out, i'd prolly do a "sit 'n spin" out the gates for like 4 seconds!
maybe one day when i get fine tuned and a better suspension, i'll make it out there.
i've stock springs, tokiko shocks up front and rear with factory 5 upper/lower control arms...those control arms were super cheap as they advertised in 5.0 mag. but i'm not sure how well they work against other manufacturers..oh yeah, i really really need some subframe connectors.
can you recommend a strut tower brace that will clear the intake pipe from the supercharger or do they all clear?

You have nothing to be emberassed about. I ran a 14.6 @ 94 in my SHO and then went back to racing the stang. One day my girlfriend asked if she could try racing the SHO. She is 5 foot nothing and barely weighs 100 pounds. She was shaking the first time she lined up at the tree and still pulled out a high 15. After that it was "ALL OVER". She HAD to race EVERY week. I was the same way the first time I pulled up to the tree. I am sure we all felt that way.

Anyway, the second time at the track my girlfriend pulled a 15.0 @ 94.8 [Eek!]

I didn't let her take it again and sold it in shame [Frown] (more mph)

LOL [Big Grin]

Drew is the local track slut that can drive anyone's car down the track faster than the car's owner can. I heard he is an illegitimate child of the infamous Bob Cosby which explains his driving skills.

I'll definitely post the dyno numbers with my combo when I get this done.

Thanks, everyone!

I dont see why anyone would want anyone but themselves driving there car down the track especially since insurance doesnt cover accidents at the track. Everyone should learn from Kevin's mishap at Sac Raceway and make people rethink who there throwing there keys to.
