I am thinking of putting JBA headers with High flow CATS, Bassani x-pipe to Roush mufflers. Will a cobra bassani x-pipe with high flow cats fit onto a mustang GT?

NO it will not fit....The header mounts on the H/X pipe are different on GT's vs Cobra's....

Bassani x-pipe #4699-3 (or -2) will fit ALL '99-'02 GTs and Cobras.
Only the '03 Cobra-specific x-pipe (#4603-3) won't fit a '99-'02 GT or Cobra.

OPPS I jumped the gun on that one, Sorry!!!!

Bill is right about the 99+ 4.6's share the same H/X pipe....BUT the 96-98 4.6's are different..You didnt post what year it was for...

Does an xpipe fit or not fit because of the exhaust manifolds? I am putting an 03 Cobra engine in my 97. Would I have to go with an 03 Cobra xpipe? [Confused]

I think this is because the T56 (on the 03 Cobra)cross member mount is farther back than the others.

no offense but that combo is really gonna kill u on power.with the side exhaust, shortys and cats i dont think its worth all that money. i would reccomend longtubes and offroad x and mil elimanators.long tubes are going to give u a lot more power for your money and taking out those cats will help get rid of the pressure in the exhaust from the nasty roush side exhaust bends. my .02
