How fast is your car? If its your typical 12/13 second 5.O, you'll just need a drive shaft safety loop when you run slicks.
As for the leaking part, talk to John91Coupe on here about how to set it up right.

it's a 10.xx second car requirement, basically if you run a 10.99 you're supposed to have them.
By that point you have a 6-pt rollbar w/doorbars, a fire suit (nomex or equiv) SFI balancer and SFI bellhousing if a manual, SFI flywheel, loop, helmet, and a bunch of other crap too.
I have them in my stang and they don't leak, also have the 10.65" rear discs (a la '93 cobra or 87-88 t-bird turbocoupe)

FYI--It's important to note that c-clip eliminators are NOT designed for heavy side-loading. They're fine for drag racing and street driving, but they WILL fail in an opentracking or road racing situation.
Most people don't know that, so since the topic came up, I thought I'd inform everyone... (Best solution for road racing is to leave the c-clips or do a 9" big bearing end conversion.)

thanks I was just wondering because I've heard that C-CLIP ELIMINATORS leak on a street driven car and wasn't sure if you could run C-CLIPS with slicks at the track

im running a no c-clip setup on my car (12 bolt) they NEVER leak. im guessing it all depends on what bearing u purchase to. i heard something with strange non clip setups having a plastic bearing which would melt if driven alot. a roller bearing on the other hand doesnt leak. no problems with my setup
