I want to put a 5.0 EFI in a 1965 mustang. Where do I go to look for this info? What all will I have to put in the classic? Will the T-5 work from the 5.0? Thanks for the info. Casey

fordmuscle.com has a story on sticking a 5.O T5 in an older stang. You can also find a bunch of info by doing searches at www.google.com

Lol I don't know but I bet you can find a classic car owner who would trade you. switching to carb couldn't be that hard...

I wouldn't think going from EFI to carb'd would actually be that hard seems how you don't have to deal with all the computer crap. I was just kinda more curious as to if there was more involved than find a throttle linkage that would fit the application.

Just finished EFI on a falcon...you know, the proginator of the first mustangs. The conversion is easy. Don't worry about in tank fuel pumps etc. just get a NAPA 125 psi performance pump some lines and read the wiring diagrams. You could also have windsor fox modify the wires which consists of labeling the correct wires and including appropriate fusable links.

The easiest way is to go to the Holley TBI. If you have any significant overlap use the Di system.

the mustangs plus catalog has a detailed how to article on how to convert from carb to EFI using late model 5.0 wiring ecu etc.

to go from efi to carb, go to www.jason.fletcher.net he has a very good article on how to do it.

either procedure is "fairly" simple.
