Does anyone know why my back tires would wear on the insides. My fronts are wearing just fine.

if u jump railroad tracks like i do , u might have bent the axle a little causing the wear, but if u dont jumo obstacles, than i dont know

So if i somehow bent the axle how would i go about fixing it?

Replace it or find a good frame shop and they can bend it back. But in my opinion once you bend an axel it is never as strong. Just replace it if that is the prob.

get a complete new one, but u would have to get some serious air to bend the axle
but then again, i looked at a 98cobra for sale with a bent axle, and i do mean bent, i could see that it was bent, and no, it wasnt irs
back to the jumping, do u do that???? , or are u smarter than me

Would lowering the car have made a difference? It's only been lowered about an inch and half.

no, the axle is solid so it shouldnt
how many miles are on the tires right no, how long has it been since they have been rotated

Eric - Your cobra is light as hell. Bet we could get 5 feet of air easily off some good tracks.

no don, this is in the truck, here are my records on a dirt track in sac (hangtown)
1. 83ft from back tires to lip of jump, only about 4 ft vertical
2. 7-9ft vertical from bottom of tires to ground, this was at pismo dunes with a down hill landing ofcourse
not to bad for a truck that almost drives staright and has ifs
