I know everyone knows about this but how do you change that real seal on your T-5 so it stops leaking? its not leaking a lot but enough to make me get under the car every now and then.

From the looks of it just remove the drive line and pop out the old seal and put in a new one. Should be very simple.

Input shaft or tail shaft?

You do not have to drain the fluid but it will leak out a bit. What you can do is jack the back end up as far as your JACK STANDS will allow. But when was the last time you changed the oil, it might be time !

tail shaft and I am going to change the oil at that time so no worries. I will just drain it all. By the way...What are jack stands???

If I were you I would go and get that looked at. I hear if they get lodged just right for along enough period of time the paint could fade! [Eek!]
