I own a 98 Mustang GT 4.6 (5-speed) and it wont start. I tried putting a new starter in and recharging the battery with no luck. I also checked all the fuses in it and everything seemed fine. When I turn the ignition it just clicks. It wont even turn over at all. What can some of the possible reasons be. I would greatly appreciate it.

Have the battery tested.

The silonod should be what you here clicking, make sure the wiring is all perfect down to the started. Have you used a voltmeter on the starter wire while someone cranked it? I would do that to narrow the problem down.

This is a common problem for Fords. Fords are notorious for a marginal battery cable causing all kinds of problems. Check the cables and make sure the are in NEW condition. If they are questionable at all replace them. Also check to make sure that the starting system is not shorted. I.E. battery cable melted against the exhaust.
