Question about gears on a 95 GT? Did they come stock with 3.23’s? I'm thinking about going to 4.10's.
Thanks,
JIM

3.08s or 3.27s........4.10s not good on the freeway or with a blower but they do great at the track for a N/A car.

Pardon the ignorance but why not with a blower? Fast to higher RPMs intern more horse power sooner?

Then would you say 3.73s ? What I am looking for is a general conscience of what gears would work the best. The mod list is too long to post.
Thanks,
JIM

If you have a 5-speed you have 3.08's, If you have an auto like me you have 3.27's. I still get 17MPG with my 4.10's in the rear and I do nothing but freeway driving. They'd be fine on the freeway. I say go with the 4.10's

4.10s are fine as long as you don't use a blower. If you going to go with a supercharger down the road get 3.55s or 3.73s, I recommand 3.73s but they can still be a little much if you adding boost.

3.55's by far

All good questions. I was thinking it was a manual. If it is an auto, 3.73's at least.

what size tires are u runnin in the rear, but since u have auto, i would say 3.73, but i would consider some wide rear tires if u arent already runnin them

what are your goals with the car? Will you be dragging it? I have A supercharged cobra with 4.30's, and its pretty fun. With 4.10's you would want a set of slicks for the track and some 295's for the street.

Pilot Sports 255/45/17 on all 4

God damn I gotta see this car sometime you are right by me. I think the 3.73's would be the way to go for you, 3.90 if you want more, but 4.10's may be a little much for you.
