OH MY GOD YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS!, right?...

Dude the psi rating on the side of the tire is for MAX load rating....Its the max psi you can put in the tire...

Ford have tested the factory size tire and took everything into consideration, (mostly vehicle weight), when suggesting air pressure in the tire...----35psi

Have you ever looked at your passenger "b" pillar, you know when the passenger door is open you can see the factory tire pressure ratings [Roll Eyes] (Also sometimes located in the glove box)..

--Basically for the correct tire pressure you really have read the tire wear...Start with the factory recommended psi, then go higher if you get wear on the outside of the tire and vise versa...If you race a lot on the street and dont want to get out to change you tire pressure all the time then run it a little lower than the factory recommendations, maybe 28psi..

I run mine at 35psi on the street. Do a search on previous threads to find out what people run at the track. I believe 18-20psi with a 1-3 sec warm-up.

15-18psi at the track and anywhere between 35-40psi for the street. My .02

I run my 555R's ~25psi on the street. They hook MUCH better then I expected.
Hell, once warmed up it's holding 1st gear from a roll! [Eek!]
The stardard 555's would break loose from a 3rd gear roll @60mph.

you want about 25-28psi or the middle tread will wear out faster
