Before-
2 Hours worth of wrenching:
My question:
What is the basic steps of removing the heads. Do I have to remove the rockers, pushrods, ect?

No you dont need to remove the pushrods as they will come off when you loosen the heads. Make sure everything is diconnected from the heads, and just unbolt them.. Remove them. Before oyu lift the heads off completly lable the pushrods. And label the lifters when you remove them.
Other than that have fun!

Blew a head gasket eh? I think TheBrain is the guy to talk to about head gaskets on these 3.8's. Two things you may already know: Ford revised the head gasket for these cars, pick up a set. The head bolts are stretch to yield so you'll need new ones.
