Does anyone know if going with wilwood disk brakes in the back of an 88 Mustang will save any weight compared to the drums? I know there are big weight savings in the front but didn't know if there was much in the back.

Also, does anyone know the part number of the kit that will not push the rim out any farther than it already is? I cannot afford to move my tire in or out anymore than the way it sits now....

Any help will be appreciated....

I dunno, drums are pretty darn light. I probably went up 10 lbs. per axle in the back with my disc conversion (to turbocoupe spec 10.5" rear discs) vs. the drums.

tough to beat drums for weight, but then again those damn cast iron calipers of the OE type brakes I'm sure are the problem.
