I am about to make my purchase on my rear suspension and wanted to know what you all thought of it. I am planning on getting HPM's Mega Bite Jr.s and ajustable Mega Bite uppers, along with the Mega Bite anti-sway bar. I am installing battle boxes and spherical bushings and having it all welded up hopefully next weekend.I am not sure on springs, I was thinking Eibach drag launch? With this combo and a new set of DR's, what do you think? Any suggestions?

[burnout] Whatever I get has to be better than my BBK lowers and Ford Racing uppers

[burnout]

All I can say dude is that you MUST have the battle boxes welded in or else those spherical bushings will rip your torque boxes right out. I read that on Griggs site I believe... Maybe on MM I am not sure. But YOU MUST HAVE THEM WELDED FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like an over kill for drag radials. Ever consider spending that money elsewhere? Like on a set of slicks?

SLicks someday, but remember this car is a street driven car, not a race car. I would run slicks on the street but cant, so DR's are my best option. And I am going to have them welded in. I will be first Eric because I am ordering them Monday! [Big Grin]

oh, the price for me welden them is that i get to drive the car once it is finished and broken in [dance] [Big Grin] [burnout]

Damn Jeff, no pushin' bro! Relax and sit tight because you don't drive your damn car anyway. Why don't you actually take your car to the track and see what it can do? You have no clue what that thing runs and wouldn't you like to know what it can do BEFORE you modify the shit out of it? How will you know how much of an improvement you've made after all this stuff is done if you have nothing to judge it against? Shit, my car has HALF the shit yours does and I am down for runnin' 'em with you because I think I could hang with what you have right now. Shit, you need to slow down bud, you don't like the idea of getting your shit straight first and THEN putting everything else in after. You won't even listen to me and get a Dyno baseline just to see where you stand right now!! You aren't afraid of what your numbers would be are you? And so what if they are not what you expected? You have some AFR's ported like a Frisco sluts p***y. SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW DUDE! I AM OFFICIALLY CALLING YOU OUT BRO. Once we both get new DR's, it is off to the races we go... Unless my cage gets here first [Big Grin] I hope to see you run it before you do everything to it because it is gonna be sad if you don't. Don't pussy out on me dude. Bring her out of the garage for once and let's go dude. C'mon.... You can do it... Wait, I will even stand in front of the car and make sure it doesn't scratch anything. Want me to stop traffic too? We can rent a trailer if you want? I will borrow a truck or you can get your brothers. I will even PAY for you to get into SAC. Video camera is on me. What say you now? No? Jeff, your shit isn't broken... Let's go dude. [burnout]

Ive said it once and Ill say it again, its pointless for me to do a dyno run or race my car the way it is now. Yeah its fast, but I am looking at it like a stock mustang. Would you go waste your money dynoing a bone stock mustang! I want a motor with X done to it. I am going to do it whether or not so no need in wasteing money on a baseline. I dont care if I pick up 1/2 a hp! I dont care if my car runs a 12.8 now or not and when Im done and have completed my project the way I want it then I will take it out and race and dyno it. Remember you two, I have more race experiance than the two of you put together. Ive been street racing since before you could drive! I know my shit aint broken and I dont need to slow down. I got the resources so I will do it. The only thing I am going to do is finish my rear suspension and get my DR's and start practicing. I may even go to a test and tune. And yes someone else will do it for free, actually two other people and if you want to go extreme three if I take it to my uncles. [Big Grin]

stock suspension cars have 60'd well into the 1.5 range and below even, just weld up your torque boxes as is and slap in some slicks.

*IF* you are a road racer, some of the components you are looking at make sense. But You might want to go "all" maximum motorsports.

the HPM megabite jr's (I run them) are basically the SSM lift bars but with a bushing.

The HPM megabite (sr.) would work great on a road-course car as they are adjustable, *but* you probably want to go MM out back with a torque arm/panhard bar for best results.

If it's a drag car, just slap the megabite jr lowers in, weld up the torque boxes, and expect 1.5x 60's with adequate tire and driving/gearing/track prep.

Man, you done messed up now. There is no way you have more driving experiance between me and Erick boyee!! Sheeit. Anyway, if you don't care then it's all good. I still want to race.

That is what I want. Thats why I said mega bite jr.s and mega bite ajustable uppers, mega bite anti roll bar and battle boxes with DR.s Gearing and axles already taken care of!
