Hi Guys thanks for looking,
A friend of mine helped me swap motors (89 gt), now the AOD (with trans-go shift kit) is shifting very high, on just regular driving, it is begging to go around 4k rpm between 1-2, 2-3. I am unsure what is causing this. Prior to the engine swap it was working fine. Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

Sounds like one of your servos is stuck open caused by the snap ring clip falling out.
Fix this by:
1. Jack up the car on four jackstands\
2. Drop transmission pan
3. Remove valve body.
4. Now look at the servos and the snap ring that holds them in. One of the snap rings is either popped out or the servo is really chewed up.
I recomed the next time you install it use snap ring pliers.

Did you install the hi-rev spring kit?

yes i think it has the high rev spring kit.
The old motor is stock, the new one has heads, cam, intake, headers, ECT,. moving the tv cable makes no (or very little )diffrence
by the way it does it on every shift. 1-2 2-3. then goes into 3-o/d very fast (still has the stock convertor). feels a lot like my old art carr built for 351 with a blower ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif)

Sounds like the motor is causing the tranny to go south.
