ok so ive shopped around and ive found these:
steeda $220- 1 1/2 in drop all the way around
intrax $190- 2 in drop all thw way around
eibach sportlines $230 1 1/2 in all around
eibach pro kit $150 7/8 front- 1/2 back
ford motor sports $140 7/8 front - 1/2 back
which of these would u recommend to have on my 88 GT droptop?? i want something low but i want it too handle good as well... thanks......

I love my sportlines, dont get the pro kit too high doesnt even look lowered. Poeple say sportlines sag in time, myne havent.

I wouldn't recommend intrax because 2 inch drop will be VERY ROUGH RIDE not to mention it could actually mess up your handling and put extra wear on your suspension/chassis. Oh yeah, and it will RUB LIKE CRAZY too.
If I were you, I would go with Steeda, BBK, Eibach, or H&R.
If you want better ride, go progressive, if you want better handling, go with specific rate. Also make sure you get springs for a V8 Convertible, or else it might look a little weird.
Last but not least, I wouldn't even recommend getting some springs right now unless you can afford some GOOD shocks + struts, which will help the RIDE, and the HANDLING.

Oh yeah another thing, you should be VERY wary of LOW ramps, and SPEEDBUMPS, seeing as you have a GT. I have an LX without the Ground FX + Foglights and it still scrapes like crazy on a lot of shit.

with 16 inch rims on my 87 i dont thing i could drop the car anymore then 1/2 an inch to 7/8 of an inch....i would go for the motor sport spring kit....you realize camber and casters will be completely out of stock specs and you will need 250 dollar kits to fix it right??? otherwise you will just be eatting tires and getting new ones every 20,000 miles or so.....

Jared, I got the pro kit on both my stangs and I think they look good. I could be wrong but I think the guys info is wrong. Isnt sportlines like a 2 1/4 drop and pro kit 1 1/2 drop?
