i just bought a pair from summit racing, w/ a dual A pillar.. and was wondering if anyone knows how to install these gauges.. 1)boost (mechanical) 2) Air fuel Ratio (electrical). I know the air fuel ratio is pretty BS, but it looks cool to me..=) neways, can anyone help me out, or give me a shop where it doesnt cost too much to install these gauges.. i have a 2000 Mustang =) thanks!

i greatly appreciate all your help! =) thanks! god bless!

The boost guage connects to a vacuum source from the intake manifold. I have no idea where it is on a V6 intake, but it should be easy to find and tap into. The air fuel guage, check out autometer's website. You connect it to the O2 sensors signal wire. Its the wire that should read about half a volt while the engine is idling.

Make sure you figure out a clean way to send the wires and vacuum line through the firewall.

We took of the plastic firewall crap and drilled a hole right inside a compartment or hole underneath the windsheild and then you got to have some push it through while you look for the wires. Its pretty simple but it just a pain to run the wires so no one can see them. Just my .02

An o2 sensor senses how much fuel or unburned gas you have in your exhaust and sends that info to the computer to adjust. The sensor it located in the exhaust pipe near the front of the motor. Look around for it youll find it. Splice into it and your all set.
