I'm curious too!!!...I love my 17x8's and I sure would like to squeeze some 285's on them!!....Too bad there not wide enough.... [Frown]

Arent there only certain rims you can widen?...Can you widen aluminum wheels?...How does it affect your "offset"??...

Where and how much will it cost$ also??...

Their are places to get this work done but on alum rims it is not cheap and your offset would all be tward the inside of the rim. You would then have to run spacers to offset your offset. Check with Champion wheel in Fresno or a place in stockton called Petes rims I think. I had the place in stockton build me a set of 17x11 for some piolt sports 335/35/17 for my 71 chev-pu but they were steel. He does fix alum rims from curb shots and such but I don't know if he wideneds them.
