im putting in a AOD in my 67 stang with a 289 but will soon be united with a 5.0 roller block(thats almost done)
what parts do i need? and can i get them from?
or is there a shop that has experience doing this that anyone knows?

i know you have to get a different cross member and shorten up the drive shaft like 1 1/4"
and a few other things.

windsor-fox is a good place for info. Youll need a crossmember(windsor fox sells em), a TV cable(Lokar sells those), a flexplate w/ the old 28oz balance that will bolt to the aod converter(B&M sells those), a shifter(an aftermarket one or getting an adaptor for stock) and as was already said you need to shorten the driveshaft(might have to change the yoke too). Hope this helps
