Can someone please help me here before i sell this car. ok i got my car to idle like a dream im very happy with that, but now my car has a miss or a bogg, really f**kin bad, timing is set at 10 degrees, but at a cruize maybe like 2500 3000 rpms, if u hit the gas hard the car shacks had shit boggs really bad, u can here popping through the mufflers, FP is set at 39. can someone send me in the right direction, i thought maybe it was my egr or my module. its tends not to happen all the time but most of the time, i have a autologic chip and like to have it burned but i want the car to be running right. thanks mario.

Stock cam? If so, the 36lbers at 39psi is WAY TOO RICH! unless you have supercharger I didn't see. I ran TW heads, ported Cobra intake. 1.7 rockers on stock cam, and 19lb injectors at 44 psi. 12.51 at 109.45mph. Try 32psi.

ps- WTF is an Elderbroke?

can some one else please throw some more ideas out. i'm up for any ideas i tried the fuel pressure i put it a 35 psi no diffrence. i think it has to do with some kind of sensor or something, something electric. thanks mario.

If it's a sensor you'll get a code.

I'm gonna agree with Jim here. You have WAY too much fuel for that mild setup. Still have the stock 19lber's & stock mass-air? I'd try that.

Other things to check would be the ignition wires & coil. Sometimes wires go bad. I've found this to be especially true of the FMS 9mm's. The best damn wires I've ever seen are Taylors. One set is all you'll need for years to come!

shawn, i dont get any codes, last time i did a code scan was about three weeks ago and it was for 02 sensors, so i changed. i dont have connections to a scanner all the time. i know i have to much fuel, 36 lbs and 255 fuel pump, thats why i turned down FP to 35 psi. um spark plugs are taylor but they were the ones where u had to custom make so maybe they have a bad connection, also the coil is msd blaster coil, and its not real secure either kinda of loose.mario.

You don't need a scanner to test for EEC codes:

I found the injector balance test helpfull in determining my bad plug wire. Basicly, you tap the gas shortly after it finishes the engine on test. From there it will blink the problem cylinder... or blink 9 if everything is okay.

Pull the plugs & see if any are fouled out with fuel.
Check all the wires, ect, while you're at it.

The pop sound in the exhaust suggests to me that you are getting incomplete combustion that is entering the exhaust and burning. If it were coming from the intake I would say momentary lean burn but you say exhaust. You speak of a bog. If this bog is temporary and you resume power shortly after I would think the problem is in the transition fuel enrichment. The large throttle body will allow for a good gulp of air when the throttle is opened fast. If not enough fuel is added to burn the mixture or if there is a marginal electrical problem that doesn't ignite the mixture you would have the same problem. The o2 sensor will provide a clue if you could measure the micro volts. The throttle has contacts that enrichen the mixture in most computer systems. You may have a malfunction there.
