I've been looking for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator...I like the Aeromotive and the Kirban regulators..Has anyone used these before and how do you like them?...I also want a 1.5" fuel pressure gauge to go inline on the schrader valve..Who makes a gauge that can just screw into the schrader valve?....I would prefer a 0-60psi gauge...

....Please no BBK product suggestions...

performance automitive makes a guage with adapter that screw directly into the shrader valve, get the kirban regulator, it is by far the best regulator ou there right now, the shop i use swears by the, i have a kirban in my cobra, it has neve come out of adjustment, i have seen kirban's on low 9's mustangs, they work, there not that expensive, and they look trick, hioe i helped, and they're easy to adjust

Why are you looking for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator when you have the pro-m MAF adjuster?

Instead of buying a few of these $75-150 parts, just save up for some heads... the real restriction in your combo [Smile]

I'm having a hard time tuning my car after I took off the smog pump.....It Runs very rich..I've tried adjusting my Pro-M but it doesnt make much of a difference at idle...I think that the 24# inj. are too big as well...

Sawson do you have any tuning tips?

Intake:Mac cold air kit,75mm Pro-M, 70mm TB, Edelbrock Performer.
Fuel:24# inj, 190lph pump.
Engine:stock long block, stock cam, Crane lifters and 1.7 rr's,CompCams push rods.
Exh:BBK shorties, off road H-pipe, Flowmaster cat-back.
Misc:ASP pullies, 3.55's, MSD, Pro 5.0,
Transmission:BROKEN T5!

24#'s might be a little too much but they will be nice with some AFR's..

Are u still running the EGR system??? U know the part that runs on the back portions of the heads?? Or did u remove those along with the pump and pump lines. Check vacuum lines over where the pump was, maybe one came un-done with removal.

Yes I'm running an EGR system...The EGR valve is still hooked up...The smog/air pump lines that run to the back of the cyl head are blocked off...There are no vacuum leaks (I checked) and all the tubing assciated with the smog pump is gone...

I'm just thinking that less fuel pressure will help out...Since there is less air going into the combustion chambers...

It runs fine just A LOT richer..

U answered what i was gettin at....with out the recirculated exhaust gasses bein pumped into your motor, you are able to get more fuel/air in there...but in this case sounds more of fuel than air. How is your air cleaner??? Make sure to check little stuff like that, and for kinks in the air delievery system.
