what is a good cold air intake to buy???

cant go wrong with the generic bbk cold air kit, it is cheap, looks pretty good, and flows enough if u dont have major mods to ur motor, i personaly like the c&l aluminum tube (between maf and tb)and maf combination, plus someone elses lower intake tube and a fender mounted filter, but for minor bolt on engine, $150 for the bbk is the way to go

Dont buy BBK you will be disapointed...Like 66 AC Cobra said its cheap!!....If looks are important I would recomend the chrome MAC cold air kit..its $189 for a 00 2valve..If your just in it for performance I would recomend the Densecharger...

The only one I have had was the BBK fenderwell kit and I thought it fit and looked great!!

MAC (I ran 1) and BBK both get very hot, they really defeat the purpous of "cold air", however, they look good and are cheap. My blower has an aluminum outlet that stays very cool, so the C&L should do the same & it's a little lighter.
I have heard only good things about the Densechcharger, runs cool and actually helps build power. I would run that or a C&L.

Densechargers look cheap because they are plastic and look like crap although theoretically they would perform the best because its made out of a plastic not metal which conducts less heat.
BBK look great and are a good price. Not saying they give you the best performance possible, but I got myne for the looks and they fit perfect everytime.
Mac is a cheap company, all there products are cheap, what do you think about there quality control?? Plus there blueribs on there inatke look like crap!
If my car wasnt show and go well not so much go I would have the Anderson Motorsport pipe that they sell.

I have the WMS on mine and love it!
Unlike the BBK or the Mac versions, this one can be bought ceramic coated. It looks good and actually stays cold. It can be bought w/ or w/o a MAS. WWW.wmsracing.com
