Does the truck sound like a Mustang? If not, then No, it shouldn't sound that way. Did you check for exhaust leaks?

Nope, it should not. I would make sure that there are no leaks, and please do not put turn downs on there. Use the complete cat back.

i put the whole cat back on instead of the dumps. sounds a lot nicer and not like a truck.

Dumps make a car sound like a dump truck.
Good call on the cat back

hmmmmmmmmmmm I have a o/r H and 2 camber flows dumped and I don't think it sounds like s dump truck at all. In fact I love the sound of my turndowns. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Guess so, because to me they kill the sound of nice exhaust.

Man i love the sound difference between dumps and pipes. I had pipes out the back for the longest time, then reluctantly switched to dumps and love it to death, it got a lot deeper sounding and that was what i was going after.
