Just take out the air silencer, and put a panel K&N in. Stock Cold Air Intake, it's FREE.
FordMuscle did a test on it too, and they found no difference. Maybe on a charged motor it would help more.

The best part IMO, is that sweet chrome tube leading to your throttle body. The stock rubber one looks, well... too factory to me

yeah when I first had my K&N and then a tornado piece too then changed to the CAI I thought I had more throttle response without the CIA. But it's lees stuff in the way and looks a lot better. I don't mind it for the price I paid for my densecharger.

good call, my blower used to suck air straight off the header, now it's in the fender and i picked up 3 lbs of boost from that alone.

It made a difference on my '94, but the air track on a '94 is different to a fox body...I recommend you go with a fenderwell kit....(beware)I've never seen any "BBK" Cold Air Kits fit well at all!!!(Sorry,I dont like BBK)....I have a MAC Cold Air kit and I love it...It matches the rest of the chrome on my engine....If you dont have any chrome under the hood I would recommend getting the Densecharger (ABS plastic doesnt get as hot)

I gained more throttle response with my Cold Air fenderwell kit befroe the blower, but you can get teh same effect from removing the silencer

Well, not quite true. The K&N panel will run you about $40.
I got a Moroso CAI and think its not bad. Not worth $100 though. If you can find a used one then its worth it. My "butt-o-meter" rates it about 3-5HP.
