Well, if your stock traction-lok differential is worn down (maybe if the car has high milage) you might want to consider a new differential. I have the auburn pro (true posi), its friggin sweet [worship]

go with either mosier or strange 31 spline axels and an auburn locker unit man. That should be a strong combo. Also look into c-clip eliminators. For the type of driving this car will see, it's not going to do anything but help you.

would rear end speailties carry and install all this. i refuse to do any rear end work on my car. lol

Rearend specialties I believe is a Auburn dealer and Yes they can do it. If you take the rearend to them you should be looking at 1300 for axles,c-clip elimnators,bearings and bushings, girdle, and gears. Depending on power levels you may want to look into 9" axle tubes welded onto your pumpkin instead of going through the c clips! [patriot]

i thought auburn's weren't rebuildable?? so after it wears down youll need to buy a new one...

i think id either go with eaton or just get a ford 31 spline differntial

He's not cutting any 60 ft's right now because they car isn't put together yet. I would look into doing the axels yourself. It wouldn't be hard at all. I'd let them do the gears though, I've heard its best not to mess with those. Then again, if they're doing new gears, just give them your new axels and they should throw them in free.
