Anyone using or heard any pros or cons about progressive nitrous controllers? thanks in advance.

Their not a really useful thing to have. Most people just turn the current on and off. So, for example if you've got a 300shot of nitrous and you turn it down to 50 percent, you're not really getting 150hp. Instead of the thing being on all the time, it acts like a duty cycle on fuel injection, it just turns the system on and off. That means you are getting a big hit of nitrous half the time..boom..boom...boom!..then your timing is going up and down with it too, which causes problems. Unless you have multi stage systems don't bother with it.

Cool, just the kind of info I wanted. I am guessing this pulsing on and off wears out the solinoids pretty fast too, right?

yeah it wears out everything.

I have about two years of abuse on my progressive controller and my solenoids are still working fine. I used it on the street more than the track. My only reason of using it was not to shock the motor nor the tires to hard when hitting it.
