how do i know if my drive shaft is coming loose? when im idling in neutral the car is fine. when i start to accel it makes a funny noise and i can feel a little vibraton. but once im driving i dont feel it, but i sometimes here a noise when im in gear at a light. i have a 90 5.0 with AOD

check the 4 bolts that go into the rear end of the car from the drive shaft, ive heard of that before.

and if you take them out DON'T use a damn socket. I screwed up my hands from a damn socket. I've heard sockets also tend to round ends off. [patriot]

The 4 drive shaft bolts are 12mm 12 point heads. You need a 12mm 12 point socket or wrench to tighten them, along with some medium lock tite. With that said... I highly doubt its your problem.... check your U joints, the yoke, your tranny mount and your motor mounts first [burnout]
