The car runs fine, but when I get on it at all, it misses. Its like if I gradually get on it, Its ok, But If I press the accelerator hard, It misses. I just did new wires, cap and rotor, and Also plugs. What could It be?

Sometimes you get a bad batch of NEW wires.
It's happened to me with FMS 9mm wires.
Swap the old ones back on & see what happens.

You crossed up your plug wires I know it, you did it when you installed your new ones. Double check them.

sounds like a vacume leak check all your connetions to make sure you got them all connected and nothing broke off thet vacume tree

also I would double check the wires make sure they are in the right order

Check the routing...especially the #4 and #5 cylinder wires. Separate those guys and make sure they are not too close...do that for all the wires and let us know. I'm wondering if your getting interference between the wires...

OK I swapped all the wires, and it ran ok for a minute, But then it was back to the same thing, it still hesitates. Check this out, if I floor it, its fine. What could it be. The timing is at 10.

What about your ignition or fuel delivery?

Posted by Black88GT (Member # 394) on :

The ignition is stock. As for the fuel, It has a new 255 in tank.
