deletes a set of butterfiles plates that '96-'98 Cobras have in their intake. The plates are suppose to open at 3300rpms, but the controller that opens them is known to crap out and leave them close. Doing that kills your upper power range and trips that oh so lovely Check Engine light. Adding the deletes get's rid of that possbility, but it kills alittle low end power (the IMRC paltes help promote more low end grunt). Some people say to not do the deletes unless you have a power adder or some rear gears. And since my controller is on it's way out again, those are on my list [Big Grin]

i have 3:73's in my reaer end would that be enough to comprimise for the low end loss? [Confused]

It is normanlly recomended to have at least 4.10 if not 4.30 gears to compisate for the low end loss.

with car parts, if you gotta ask...
you prolly don't need it.
