1. has anoyone seen a blown 2000 cobra r? if so a link?
2. i have acquired 2 turbos from a supra is there any way with a bit of customization to get them to fit on the stang? maby some computer tuning to get them to run?

no idea all i know is they are off a 94ish supra, damn it would of been the best bang for the buck mod i've done

Yes
There is a guy in the bay area that had a blown cobra R. It was in 5.0 about 6 months ago. It made 575rwhp. They took it down the track a few times, and it blew up. The only problem now is, no one makes parts for it [Frown]
I iknow he was in the process of ordering a ne wmotor or rebuilding it.

Go look at TDCs kit on there website. It list all the items that the kit comes with. Might give you an idea of what you need.

Replacement parts for an R are a bitch! Given a easier way to fix a blown motor, I'd consider it.

why is it so hard if a most of the parts are made by aftermarket companies cant u just contact them? or do they not really stock them?

The heads and intake are what you can't get from Ford. [Frown]

New oil pan from Canton, sure.
New underdrive pullies from March, OK.
Exhaust from Bassani, Yep.
Springs from Eibach, shocks from Bilstien, and so on are no problem. [Smile]

Just curious if you are the original owner and what you payed? They had one up here at Hansel Ford that started out at $125,000!!! [Eek!]

so if you blow your intake and its under warrenty and u take it to ford, when u need a new manifold or somehting they just tell you your shit outta luck? after spending all that money on the car
