To make a long story short. My friend recently installed a new cam, heads and intake in his 95' Mustang. But since the install, every two weeks his oil light comes on and needs to refill the oil level back to normal. Once in a while the exhaust will throw out blue smoke but it is usually a minimal amount and only really done at start up.The engine bay nor the under carriage show signs of an oil leak. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

tell your friend he's a dumbass because he needs the idiot light to tell him hes low on oil. Its easy to check that while their gas is pumpin.

I agree with this 100%

Sometimes you will get oil into the intake ports where the lower intake matches to the heads. This will casue smoke on start up and WOT. It really isn't a problem. If it bothers him too much pull the lower intakes and get a better seal on those gaskets. [patriot]

check the lower intake gaskets if they where properly set on right.also check your radiator walls for oilly sluge, good indication that you have oil running in your water jackets.
.have you notice any coolant missing?

well this guy just got started into modding his car out. he doesnt know too much about his car or cars ingeneral but he was willing to do the complete swap on his own and he did a pretty good job except for this minor detail that he cant figure out. he is most likely going to rip it all apart again.

he is not bothered by the light amount of smoke mostly the fact of refilling the oil level every two weeks. He just thought it might be a side effect from the main problem

Street illegal stang
There is no sluge build up any where near the radiator walls but thanks anyways

Thanks Guys
