A lot of people like them, but I wouldn't buy them for the sole reason that FORD has never made gears in that ratio before....

Nothing, if the gears were out when I was getting myne installed thats what I would have put in myne. Think you will be one of the forst with those gears too, something to brag about.

ive been waiting for 3.90's to come out for a long time. it just makes sense.
3.08 - 3.27 - 3.55 - 3.73 - ... - 4.10 [Frown]

You forgot to put 2.73's on that list man. Haha can you be;ive thatw hat my mustangs old gear ratio was? I went from 2.73's to 3.73's that was a huge jump. But your right there is to big of a jump from 3.73's to 4.10's. 3.90's is perfect.

Pro 5.0 also makes 3.90 gears. From what I've heard Ford will be releasing 3.90 gears sometime soon.

I have Motive 3.90's and they've been good to me. I got them shortly after they came out last year.

also forgot 4.11's then 4.30's then 4.56's and so on and so on. Chuck my friend has them on his 2001 GT. I will ask him how he likes them once he gets around to installing them. I say put them in...or go bigger [Wink]

do you realize what I'd be going through the traps at with a 4.56 gear? REDICULOUS! You honestly need to be realistic and bigger is not always better
