I'am by no stretch of the word familiar with the engine part of my car. When ever I get it around 1K RPM it starts shaking pretty hard. What the hell can that be.

My bro's car was doing the same thing about a couple weeks ago. Shaking could be caused by a lose head. Are you losing coolant?

Im not loosing any coolant. The thing is that when I turn it on the whole engine is shaking. If I barely press the gas the whole car starts shaking around 1K RPM.

did you look over the engine real good? maybe a spark plug wire has come loose. did it happen all of a sudden? think about it. how well is this thing maintained? if you csant find the problem get it to a shop before you do futher damage.

Actually I just got the tune up done and they replaced the spark plugs. And yet it is still shaking. Thats not all that is wrong with it. Theres like a claking sound coming from underneath the car. You can only hear this when you are driving and you accelerate.

is it worse when you give it gas? if so, sounds like a miss. most likely ignition related

The clanking? does get worse when I press on the gas. Specially around 2500RPM but Im not sure though. Its pissing me off. I havent used the car for the last couple of days.

If its the 95 GT your talking about thats shaking, theres about a 90% chance its your Harmonic Balancer. All that shaking usually happens when that rubber seal on the inside of the balancer gets worn out, torn, or just starts slipping off, thus you get the rattling and maybe even grinding when metal hits metal. Better get underneath and check. They usually run for about 115 dollars at an auto parts store. [burnout]
