They're not the best choice for a street car. What are you trying to gain with lower control arms?

An alternative, box your stock ones.-

Well if you get Upper Control arms make sure that the bushings are rubber and not polyurethane. If the uppers and lower are both polyurethane bushings there will be no give and the axle will bind.

1.67 best, and more 1.7x 60's than you can shake a stick at!
(I'm not denying the work, but make sure you weld up your boxes or something--- I didn't and I paid for it)

When are we lowering your car?

Norgs- are you running slicks or ET streets? Those control arms are meant for non daily driver track whores launched on slicks.

I drove on them for over a year in the bay area and YES weld the boxes!!!!!!!
Drew most of us do not have you driving skill (myself included) and must try anything we can to get a good 60'foot

Southsides work awsome! I average 1.32 60fts with SSM upper and lowers. You have to weld the torque boxes becuase they are week, not because of the SSM. As soon as your car starts to hook, no matter what traction control device you have, you will need to strengthen the boxes. You really have to make sure and get your pinion angle set right though, which is a real pain in the ass with the southsides. Much easier if you get adjustable uppers. I found 6 degrees of pinion angle worked the best for my car, but each car is different. IF you dont have the pinion set correctly, they wont work at all!

ya but matt what was also wrong with ur 60 foot is ur launch, every time you left the staging you left to late, you need to hit that light faster, just what i saw from the runs...

Reaction time has no effect on your 60 ft times. I can sit there for 25 seconds after it turns green and still turn a 11 second pass with a 1.7 60 ft. Reaction time only matters when braket racing and heads up racing Brian. Just an FYI for you.

Matt all I am trying to say is that YOU DONT NEED THEM RIGHT NOW! You will get traction with teh stock control arms and the drag radials. Use that money on something else that will be more useful to your car.
