I plan on re adjusting the timing on my 2001 gt to 14 degrees. Will this have any effect onto the accuracy of my tach?

Well, I might play with ancient stuff, but no, it shouldn't have any effect on the tach. And I may also play with ancient stuff, but just incresing your initial advance can be detrimental to performance in it may advance your total to far.

I have a timing adjuster. It didn't change my tach. But the stock tach is off by a couple of hundred anyway. I also run 14 degree's timing. You will have to run 91 octane. Every car is diffetent so when you set it to 14 make sure you listen for pinging.
