im leaning towards a roots for engine safety but i do a lot of 1.4 mi racing with a centrifical stock 8lbs will i blow my engine in 2 weeks im ordering my blower i need help asap.And for all who said the saleen blower was a piece of crap and sucked in the 1/4 mi check this out?http://www.chicanesport.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=000380 hope the link works

hey the only way you will blow your motor on any blower is if you redline the car to much 8psi wont blow the car just have byron put a torq limiter on your car so if you hit the revlimiter it pulls timeing and not fuel

and of course do something about your fuel system get something that will support the power that you will want to make

also that seams slow to me for runing almost 13psi and only ran a 12.6 at 107

I ran a 12.2 at 117 on 14psi

yeah www.musclemotors.com sells tha paxton novi 1000 for 2899 it comes with the crappy chip,38lb injectors and 255 fuel pump so its all set i know that whatever blower i get as soon as its installed im going directly to byron to have him tune it gotta call soon to make an appt like a month in advance

If you have a second car as a daily driver, than I would get a s/c. Make sure you start saving $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
for a rebuild. Plan on 8K for a decent rebuild.
I would go NOS if you want to go fast. Get some 4:10's slicks, LY's and a 125 shot. High 11's easily [Big Grin]
