guys i just installed a 160 thermostat and ithought my hypertech programer was giving me problems but i detuned the programer to stock and still the same problem when i start my car it idles terrible andsounds like i got some cams in there also a very rich smell coming out the exhaust anyone install a thermostat on a 4.6 and had problems what should i do take it out and put the stock one back in to see if the problem exists?

I have a 180. I would put the stock one back in and see if everything goes back to normal if so. I would then go get the 180. I've read about a few people having problems when they put the 160 in.

the problem is fixed i took out the 160 and put back my stock one and car ran perfect i don't know why my car didn't like the 160 maybe i'll try a 180 but i did like the sound my car made with the 160 sounded like i had cams ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif)
