If I get drag radials with 4.30 gears and upper and lower control arms putting at mostwhen I done 350 rwhp to the ground will stock rear end handle it.

it will handle that with ease (the pumpkin and center diff), though the axles might not be up to it. Those can be easily upgraded, however.

Joe, have you run the hardened 28 spline axles? Just wonder if they are worth the money since you don't have to change the center section.

no, but JMMclesk showed me about 3 (I think) in his garage a few months ago. 330 rwhp snapping hardened 28 spline axles with slicks. ouch.

I'm looking at a 33 spline unit, but they all seem to be spools? grrrr....

I have yet to break an axle, best of 1.67 60'.... but I did buy my rear end from a guy with a pretty built carbed/blown 5 liter. Perhaps my axles aren't stock? lol. I don't even know.

I'm also looking into this, I run 3.73's on a stock 8.8. BFG' D/R's for now.
I just threw my Novi in and guess what???

NO freak'n traction no matter how I launch. I thought of slicks... but worry if my diff can take it. How much $$ and labor is involved in an upgrade??
